Fulke Walwyn was one of the greatest personalities ever to grace the National Hunt Racing scene in the UK. Born in 1910, he rode his first winner in 1930. As a trainer, Fulke won virtually every great hurdle and steeplechase in the UK. In 1973 he took charge of Her Majesty the Queen Mother's jumpers and by May 1990 had trained 150 winners for her.
