Original dust jacket (now in a protective sleeve). Alan Garner's third book following 'The Weirdstone of Brisingamen' and 'The Moon of Gomrath'. The originality of the story and the power of its telling still sweep the reader along. Nicely illustrated by Charles Keeping's drawings. Book in very good condition. Text block edges lightly soiled and small ink stamp to lower edge. Very light spotting to endpapers and prelims. Internally clean and bright. Dust jacket in good condition. Unclipped. Generally lightly rubbed and soiled. Some light edge wear with occasional small chip. Corners a little worn/chipped and two small closed tears to lower edge of front. Internal surfaces a little spotted.
