Thomas Nelson & Sons, London. The 'Princess' Library for Girls edition - undated but has a presentation plate to front paste down dated 'Xmas 1916'. Book condition: very good. Corners a little bumped and some shelf wear to head & tail of spine. Spine has suffered a little colour fade. Lower corner of front board has a small area of what appears to be damp staining but this is superficial only. Other than the printed presentation plate to the front paste down, there are no marks of ownership. Pages a little tanned with and half title page loose. Colour frontispiece (tissue guarded) plus five other full-page colour plates all bright and clean. Green cloth covers with decorative front and spine. An attractive edition of this timeless classic.
