Faber & Faber, London, June 1941. First edition. Book condition: good. Light shelf wear and slight bumping to corners. Yellow boards soiled. Internally clean and unmarked. 80 pages. A couple of pages have some light creases which look like a production fault rather than later damage. No jacket. Davies was a Welsh poet and writer who spent a significant part of his life as a tramp both in the UK and the USA. He was very popular during his lifetime and is generally included amongst the Georgian Poets though much of his work is not typical of their style and themes. In 1905 he met Edward Thomas who did much to help him.
