Some fading to spine and a little fraying to silk covering at front corners (mainly upper). some very light spotting to endpapers. Original slipcase in good condition with just a few light marks and scuffs. The book is beautifully produced and bound in pale moire silk cloth. Six copper engravings by Ru Van Rossem - these were engraved in 1949 for a small limited edition of The Song of Songs published by the Collectors' Book Club. The text of this edition is that of the Revised Version 1885.
