Having worked with Peter Sellers on the radio comedy Variety Bandbox and with Tony Hancock in revue, Miriam Karlin made a name for herself in the hit TV series The Rag Trade. On film, she was the ill-fated cat lady in Kubrick's A Clockwork Orange and a stroppy singer-cum-shop steward in The Entertainer. Her long and successful career encompassed theatre, TV, film and radio together with political activism. Black & white photographs. Book in very good condition. Slight bumping to top corner of upper board, otherwise in fine condition. Dust jacket near fine. Unclipped and with only very minor edge wear. Sligh colour fade to spine.
