One of 100 copies on hand made paper. Copy number 65 of 100 printed on hand made paper (a further 450 copies of this edition were printed on wove paper). Hardback. pp. viii, 203. Green paper covered boards over tan cloth spine with printed paper label. Borders to title page and half titles of the three constituent books by Violet Dale. Text in black with historiated capitals to each chapter and chapter (Capitulum) summary printed in blue. The text of this edition is MS1411, Gg. i. 16, in the University Library at Cambridge, but in modern spelling. It contains the first three books only and was probably written around the middle of the fifteenth century. Book in good condition. This is an ex library book and has the bookplate of Hereford City Library to front paste down and a library stamp to verso of title page. There is also a Dewey ref number to spine. The book was a reference only copy so has escaped the depredations associated with lending copies. Boards and cloth a little soiled. Some slight bumping and wear to corners. Upper edge of text block dust soiled. Free endpapers toned. Internally very clean.
