Constable & Company, London, 1982. Book condition: good. The book is actually in very good/near fine condition but we've graded it as good only as there is a production fault to page 117/118 which has been mis-trimmed resulting in a crease across the upper corner. As a result of this, the title page had been removed from the book indicating it was probably destined to go back to the publisher. Otherwise the book is very clean and sound with the five colour illustrations intact and very little shelf wear. Dust jacket condition: very good. Unclipped and just a little very light shelf wear around the edges and a little light spotting to the flaps. This fascinating history of the origin of garden plants will enrich everyone's appreciation of even the smallest garden.
